I stayed at the hotel with my wife in late December and had a very positive experience from start to finish. My interactions with the reception team—both over the phone and in person—were excellent. A good hotel but bedroom not to our liking

Given this is a five star hotel I expected so much more from the bedroom. It was dark with dark heavy furniture and inadequate lighting. We had to leave lights on in the bathroom to give more illumination in the room, and use the torch on our phone to see properly. Everything about the room was drab and didn’t leave me feeling uplifted. The bed was worthy of a cheap hotel. We had a lovely stay at Hotel Stary. It’s really well located next to the main square but at the same time quiet and peaceful. The rooftop bar has an amazing view and lovely in the sunshine. The spa is really unique and we were the only ones there both times we used it. Staff were very helpful and sorted an early check in as we flew into Krakow very early.
