The hotel overlooks Wawel Castle, the meandering Vistula as well as the riverfront buildings of the Old Town and, weather permitting, the contours of the Tatra mountains. The town centre is around 500 m away, the Jewish Quarter is around 1500 m away and the Old Town, the train station, the bus station and shops are all around 2 km away. Wieliczka salt mine is about 4 km away and the Auschwitz Museum is around 65 km away.

    Really liked this very comfortable hotel, in an excellent position - just on the edge of the beautiful old town.. Very good rooms with excellent facilities; we were very fortunate in having a balcony overlooking castle and river - a very welcome upgrade for us.. Good and varied breakfast. Bonus of very good restaurant on top floor, which has very reasonable prices. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would certainly recommend.

    Brilliant Hotel In A Great Loaction

    The hotel staff upon arrival was great. The check in was really fast, with the check in staff also offering help in regards to places to see and visit. They provide a map to show all local places to see. The room itself is lovely, really bit with a castle and river view .It was our anniversary so they went above and beyond by including a chocolate cake for my wife to eat. They also provided a complimentary bottle of wine. Breakfast is fantastic and has everything you could need, the only thing I would have liked to see was another egg option, rather than just scrambled, however this is a small detail. Cooked food, fruit, pastries are all included and my wife particularly enjoyed the brownie. They even provide a breakfast box, if like us your flight is extremely early and you miss the 7am breakfast slot. There is a supermarket 2 doors down which is also a great help and the old town is only 5 minutes away. From the hotel I would highly recommend to local restaurants on the same road.Tandoori Flame and Pizza Zwierzyniecka.The gym here is great of you run, but not if you lift weights so something to be aware of.Other consideration:We visited Autchwitz on our second day. You can visit, but make sure you book in advance. The tours are definitely worth it. You can travel via train or bus. We did the bus and the bus station is actually attached to a major shopping centre which was great. The bus station was a 20 minute walk from the hotel..Make sure you book your travel in advance as the bus was full.

    Fabulous hotel not far fromThe main square Very friendly and helpful staff with an excellent knowledge of English ( I know I’m sorry I can’t speak Polish)Rooms were 5 star plus - absolutely beautiful clean and bright Breakfast was delicious and very generous Beautiful restaurant on the top floor with a fantastic view over the city All in all a must stayWe will be back!Thank you Hotel KOSSAK

    The hotel is in a good location for a short walk into the old town . Taxi rank outside the front door too.Room was a decent size and very clean as was the rest of the hotel , breakfast was good and the rooftop bar and restaurant was excellent . All staff came across as friendly . Many thanks to everyone for a nice time in Krakow.
