Pictures and announcements do not match reality- for the worse
Pictures do not match reality. Our room was “not for smokers” and yet the smell of cigarettes was unbearable. Access to the Internet is not free and requires additional payment. Practical for a short visit
It is a very practical hotel (we stayed one night, as a family), well placed, and you can go anywhere from there. The furniture was a bit old. The breakfast was really basic. Modern hotel across from the Main rail Station (HBF)
This hotel is immediately across the street from the St. Gallen rail station (HBF). Very nice hotel to stay in. Good breakfast and view of the main street while your sipping coffee. My room was modern but functional. The part frosted part plain glass between the bed and the bathroom might not be to everyone's taste. As central as you can get, very nice and helpful staff, pretty damn good breakfast
My room was not large, but perfectly adequate. The towels are not plush, but clean and completely adequate. The bed was a queen, perfect. Wi-Fi good & reliable. If you are a light sleeper you might mention that as there can be a bit of noise late (when the bars close?) and early in the morning (street sweeping?)No safe in the room, didn't ask if one at the desk.
