Location

Urubamba is a beautiful valley endowed with an incredible scenic beauty and rich history that, due to its excellent location, is the ideal starting point for visits to Machu Picchu, which is only 1 1/2 hours away by train. The hotel is just a 5-minute drive from the town centre and there are shops, restaurants and bars in the surrounding area. It is 15 km to Salinera de Maras, 17 km to Moray, 20 km to Ollantaytambo, 30 km to Chincheros and 40 km to Pisac. The hotel lies only 76 km from the city of Cuzco.

Facility

Guests can enjoy the pleasant ambience of one of the 4 junior suites, 6 suites, 3 single rooms and 19 double rooms. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The hotel offers a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom.     4 out of 5 stars The food was delightful and cheap by Australian standards. We both had Alpacca Loon with Roast veges AU$17.50. Beautiful presentation good flavors. The Alpacca had a nice flavor but was a little tough. Cooked very well done - would be nice if it was Med. But no choice given.Service was slow and language barrier was a little hard with one team member. Beautiful setting in this lovely ex Monastery.
