  Staff were very kind and helpful, they looked after our bags for a few hours after check out. Room itself was basic at best, with very little natural light and the pictures are far nicer than the actual room.   All staff were very helpful and friendly, I could not fault them. Reception booked trips and gave lots of information, very helpful and information gratefully received. It has to be borne in mind, that it was a very reasonable price, a suite for £147 for 2 nights. Lovely big big comfortable bed, clean bedding, although no mattress protector.   This hotel was very nice and grand but I was a bit disappointed in the location as there is nothing really around or close by. When I looked up location to stay at, I saw Miraflores was one of the main areas, but Barranco is more better since its more walkable. My cab driver told me my hotel was a bit far from everything and its not walking friendly.   I checked in at around 11.30pm. There were 2 cleaners lounging around in reception and the place smelled odd. Food smells covered by cleaning fluid or something. I knew how to ask for my reservation in Spanish but was answered by a brusque, "Passport". The lady's English was fair so I asked for some milk, in English and again in Spanish.
