It was bumpy at first. We booked a triple occupancy room, but the third bed was a cot! Imagine! A cot for an adult female at the Holiday Inn! We called Lima Tours and Wingbuddy…they were not helpful at all. They threw us under the bus, with platitudes and empty apologies. Even the Lima Tours rep was ineffectual. Terrible location- not at the airport as advertised. While they offer a shuttle, we sat in traffic for AN HOUR to get from the airport to the hotel. Holiday Inn Lima Airport to the rescue. Our plans to spend our last night in Miraflores before heading home to San Francisco fell through when our flight from Trujillo to Lima was cancelled due to zero visibility fog. While we were still in Trujillo, I hit up trusty old TripAdvisor and found the Holiday Inn Lima AirPort and booked it. Right from the first moment we arrived from the shuttle the staff were very helpful. We had an early morning flight and our transport on the free airport shuttle was booked for us.
