I like this Hotel and we always came here the personal are very professional ,very nice and helpful .The rooms very clean and safe?? ?? I recommended to everybody. My friends came from Los Angeles they are very happy and they will return to here too because the place of the Hotel is very close to everywhere . The Del Pilar is located a 2 minute walk from Kennedy Park. The rooms are comfortable. The hotel is a bit noisy so I recommend asking for a room on one of the higher floors. The staff with the exception of Denise were great (she is discussed in several other reviews and is rude, unsmiling and generally not a good first impression for new arrivals.) this hotel was one of our Machu Picchu highligts I wish we would have stayed longer. Beautiful scenery not far from the train station and the staff were wonderful.. They also had 2 Alpacas living on the grounds. Resteraunt was great nothing but great things to say about our experience. If you go when the moon is new it should be a wonderful place to stargaze. We had a almost full moon. 5 stars all… this hotel was one of our Machu Picchu highligts I wish we would have stayed longer. Having had an all night flight, the Hotel receptionist checked us in as soon as possible. The lobby is beautiful, we felt safe leaving our luggage in a secured area to go and enjoy a delicious breakfast down the street, while our rooms were being prepared. All the staff members were very kind, helpful, professional and had informative suggestions on places to visit.
