    SLEEPING = MISSION IMPOSSIBLE ! Most horrible hotel stay ever in my life!

    I arrived on 12 th of march after flying over from europe. I spent the day exchanging money, had a tour around Asuncion, had dinner, and afterwards I just wanted to sleep. But sleeping is a no go in this hotel, because there is this bar Acuarela on the top, where the swimming pool is. And they play music so load, that the walls are shaking. I went up there to complain, but the music up there is so load, that you have to stick the finger in yout ears, and nobody understands you or wants to understand you anyway. I was really, really tired, but the basses were too loud. I tried to relax, but how can you relax with basses imitating fast heart beats. I hoped the music would stop at 12.00 o clock, but it did not. Then I hoped it would stop at 1.00 o clock, but it did not. Then I hoped, it would stop at 3 o clock, but the music went on and on even harder than before. The discjockey probably is deaf. At 5 o clock I finally gave up hope, and got up, as I had to leave the hotel at 8 o clock anyway. Eventually I went down to have breakfast, where the next disappointment waited for me: No breakfast buffet at all, but just one waiter, you have to wait for. Eventually he finds the time to ask you what kind of coffee you want. And then you have to wait again, and all you get is a very small breakfast ( 1 small croissant, 1 slice of cheese, 1 slice of ham, jam and your coffee). Conclusion: Go somewhere else if you want to enjoy a good night s sleep. Avoid this hotel as it is not a hotel but a discothec.

    Really bad experience, you pay for A and they sent you to B

    Hotel was overbooked so they sent us to another tower on an “upgrade”. The other tower was half a block away, did not have a lobby nor any services, and was half way built. The elevator was a construction elevaror. Shower wouldn’t drain and it stinked throughout the night. You would call reception and no one would pick up. Not a single bottle of water in the mini fridge nor a blanket in the drawer. They advertise as free parking, but it doesnt exist. They justify by saying they have the lot but no personnel to run it.     GREAT LOCATION BETWEEN A LARGE MALL AND THE HIPSTER BAR AREA

    This is definitely a hipster hotel. Upon arrival I could not work out where the entrance was, however they have a door person to alleviate this problem. The hallway to the room is dark and dingy, like something from the movie From Dusk Till Dawn. Room however, is large and modern and the bed is king size to say the least. WiFi works great and breakfast is really good too. Staff service is great and they speak English well. The hotel is walking distance to a large mall where you can change money and walking distance to the hipster bar and club area of Asuncion. You will need to take an Uber or Paraguay's version of Uber called MUV to get to the downtown area of Asuncion. The area is very safe day and night, however the streets around the area are a little dark at night and a small torch may be handy. If staying in Asuncion again, I would consider this hotel again.     We stayed three days at this great new hotel. The service was friendly and excellent. Our room had a super king size bed that was very comfortable. Everything was modern and clean. The lobby was a nice place to hang out. We ate most of our meals in the lovely downstairs Acuarela Restaurant. The buffet was inviting but one could also order from the menu. In the evening when it cooled off we sat outside on the deck. The neighborhood was quiet and with plenty of shade trees. Not knowing Asunción and making the hotel reservation online, we were delighted and surprised with the hotel and the location. I highly recommend this friendly hotel.     we rented this room to do a fashion photoshoot, it was the newest and most modern in terms of furnishing compared to the other options of hotels we had, also the price was reasonable for the all new installations, sadly it poured rain that day so we couldnt enjoy the pool but it looked amazing.
