The service is great and staff keep the property clean, but serious upgrades to the property are necessary.The good: We were here for 7 days and took advantage of most amenities. After a few day visit in Penonome with family the Buenaventura Spa & Golf Resort was a perfect spot for rest and relaxation. We loved our spacious suite. Sunset was the perfect time to sit in the balcony and admire the beautiful tranquil surroundings. Beautiful, but a little tired

I have to agree with the ealier reviews. The property is magnificent, but the rooms are tired. Our shower did not work unless you put it in a very particular spot which had to be shown to us by maintenance. The beds squeaked so terribly that we had to ask them to move our room. This was our second stay at The Buenaventura Golf & Beach Resort. However, this stay was not planned. We had rented an apartment in the Bristol residences but lost water after a few nights.
