    I found this hotel to be exactly what you would expect of this historic name. Small details of care and elegance, even to the lamps and room decorations, where nothing was out of place aesthetically. Some aspects seemed dated; but in an intentional nostalgic or classic theme. Hector and the other staff were exactly what you would expect in a movie-version of a luxury hotel interaction. Several room service orders were all delicious and timely delivered. I found the prices surprisingly reasonable. Overall this is a phenomenal property for all the right reasons.     I had a wonderful birthday trip. Then entire staff was so welcoming and friendly. I would to especially recognize William in the breakfast restaurant. He was so friendly, remember our favorites every day and went above and beyond. Will definitely make this my top choice next trip!     We had a wonderful time at this hotel. the service level was top notch and added greatly to our first vacation experience here in Panama. Staff members like William and Tatianna in the restaurant were very welcoming and always helpful. Others like my brothers Flash and Wilfredo in the lobby always made sure that we were at ease and comfortable THis hotel has a great team of staff who made us feel at home the entire time. My only complaint on this stay was the poor state of the gym ; it needs an upgrade. Also the elevators were a bit out of date and slow.
