Location

This eco hotel is situated amidst the highlands of Chiriqui Province, in the Republic of Panama, and in the very heart of nature. The complex is surrounded by mountains and an exotic biodiversity, and enjoy a wonderfully mild climate. The surrounding environment offers a myriad of activities. The centre of Cerro Punto is a 10-minute drive from the hotel and La Amistad National Park is half an hour's drive away. The beaches are 45 minutes by car.

Facility

47 rooms are available. The reception desk is open round the clock. Services include a baggage storage service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. The grounds of the complex feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional facilities include a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park.     The place is run down, old and in bad need of an update. It is such a waste to have such a beautiful setting and location with a hotel interior so outdated and dreary. The outdoor grounds are stunning along with the view and although there's an amazing patio, it's not available for sitting, having a drink or a meal outside. The primary view is from inside the eating area but the windows are either so dirty or obscured that's it's difficult to enjoy the view. The eating area looks like something out of a run down 1970's cafe. The staff was amazing however, and the location is great. This place needs a major upgrade everywhere...the rooms, the dining area, the bar (which was defunct and being used for the breakfast buffet, which sucked (ice cold pancakes and bread, overcooked cold eggs, etc.).     From the entrance the place is beautiful, the service is excellent, the rooms are spacious and clean, an ideal place to rest and connect with nature.
