  Nightmare. Save your vacation and go elsewhere!

  A nightmare. It's been a long time since I've come back from a vacation so dissatisfied and eager to return home as I did from Belad Bont accommodation, which cannot be called a hotel. If you are considering a vacation here, please choose another hotel. I will summarize the hotel by category.Rooms - We paid extra for Superior rooms, which was a waste of money. Instead of a nice Superior room, we got a worn-out, spacious apartment with a kitchen, living room, and two toilets. There were only two tiny windows for the entire space. The kitchen didn't have a single glass or fork, so it was completely useless. The room was dark and smelled strongly of mold. The white sheets had stains, but the bed was comfortable, and I appreciate the good water pressure in the shower. 
Food - A very poor school cafeteria. The reality was nowhere near the promotional photos. It was the same thing over and over again all week. Minimal flavor, everything tasted the same, without salt and pepper, often completely tasteless. Six hot food containers were the "selection." When grilled chicken was served for lunch, you could be sure that the leftovers would be thrown into the sauce and chicken in sauce would be served for dinner. What's more, the chicken was full of crushed small bones and cartilage; cutting up chicken is probably too much work for the cook. Completely inedible for children. Lunch and dinner always consist of two types of rice, chicken, beef/fish, pasta, and cooked vegetables swimming in oil. Don't expect scrambled eggs for breakfast. Omelets are available next to the "life station," where they pretend to make eggs for you, but there is never a chef there to prepare them. They also do this "life station" nonsense at dinner, but only on days when a large new group arrives. Suddenly, you see an awkward vegetable and fruit light display in the dining room with a chef who will prepare pasta with ingredients of your choice. This happened twice during our 8-day stay. The desserts were on par with a 4-star hotel in the Middle East. The coffee (read: bad brown water), which is available as part of the all-inclusive package, was really disgusting. Oh, and the two promoted à la carte restaurants were closed, supposedly due to a lack of guests, which was not really evident from the situation in the dining room or on the beach shuttle. The beach was 1.6 km away on foot, so the distance shown online did not correspond to reality. The promised shuttle comes 6 times a day! You can get the schedule at the reception. You need to keep an eye on the times and wait for the bus well in advance to make sure you can get on the shuttle. People waited up to 30 minutes in advance to secure their seats - a real vacation vibe. On the beach, there is a bar, toilets, and small snacks (sandwiches and watermelon/pineapple), deck chairs, and dilapidated umbrellas. However, the beach itself is still a long way ahead of you. The designated beach area from the hotel is across the road, so you really have to walk a bit to get to the sea. In any case, the beach has incredibly pleasant white sand, clean water (even though it is very close to the main port of Salalah) with pleasant waves, the possibility of walking along the sea, and camels often wander here, which is a pleasant local attraction. Services and staff - A disaster. Light All Inclusive was a complete scam - it really only included still water, cola, sprite, mirinda, the aforementioned "coffee," and local juices. Cola Zero and sparkling water were charged extra. However, most of the time you only get water or juice with your meal in the "restaurant" - the bar in the restaurant was mostly closed and the waiters didn't even bother to tell us that we should finish our meal and then go to the pool for drinks if water and juice weren't enough for us. You bring your own drinks with your meal, there is no service here, and even in the dining room, only 100ml paper cups are available most of the time - often you won't even get glasses for dinner. The pool bar has no bartender, so if you want a drink, you have to wait at the empty bar and hope that someone will notice you, come and pour you a drink, and then quickly disappear again. On the positive side, the pool is clean, well-maintained, and pleasantly warm. The hotel has a relatively good gym. We were here through Blue Style, and I don't understand how a travel agency can afford to include such a dump in its selection. We spent most of our time outside the hotel, either traveling or staying at other hotels, so as not to completely ruin our vacation in Belad Bontem.

  ⚠️ SCAM WARNING – DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL ⚠️I had a terrible and stressful experience with Belad Bond Resort, and I strongly warn other travelers not to stay there.Before my arrival, I received a WhatsApp message claiming to be from the hotel, asking me to pay in advance for 3 nights. I paid 187 USD as requested.When I arrived, the staff told me they never received the payment, but said “don’t worry, we will refund you.”Despite this, they forced me to pay again for the one night I stayed, even though I had already paid in advance. I only stayed one night, not three.After leaving, I contacted them by email to get my refund. Now they say the WhatsApp message was not from them and deny any responsibility.Result: I paid twice, stayed one night, and never got my money back.On top of this, the hotel itself is very old, dirty, and poorly maintained.There is a strong mold/musty smell everywhere, the place feels neglected, and it is absolutely not worth the money.⚠️ This hotel is either dishonest or completely disorganized — in both cases, the customer loses.⚠️ Do NOT send advance payments via WhatsApp.I strongly do NOT recommend this hotel.There are many much better, cleaner, and more honest hotels in Salalah. Avoid this place.⚠️ AVERTISSEMENT – ÉVITEZ CET HÔTEL ⚠️J’ai été victime d’une arnaque par le Belad Bond Resort.J’ai reçu un message WhatsApp prétendant provenir de l’hôtel, me demandant de payer 187 USD à l’avance pour 3 nuits. J’ai payé.À mon arrivée, ils ont dit ne pas avoir reçu l’argent, ont promis un remboursement, mais m’ont forcé à payer de nouveau pour la seule nuit que j’ai passée.Je n’ai passé qu’une nuit, j’ai payé deux fois, et je n’ai jamais récupéré mon argent.Maintenant, par e-mail, ils affirment que le message WhatsApp « ne venait pas d’eux » et nient tout.En plus de cela, l’hôtel est très vieux, sale, et sent la moisissure partout.Absolument pas rentable.❌ Je ne recommande absolument pas cet endroit.Il y a beaucoup d’hôtels bien meilleurs et plus propres à Salalah. Évitez celui-ci.
