Location: OK, but we had a rental car (unrelated: for more freedom, a car is welcome).Check-in and welcome: very good.Room: large, clean, comfortable bed.Activities in the hotel: acceptable (swimming pool, gym). Breakfast: a little sparse for a 4-star hotel, even though we were there in the low season.The service and staff more than made up for any minor shortcomings. Right from the time of booking and planning, the staff were very helpful. I got a call back based on my email. We came here to celebrate my wife's birthday for a little get away. Huda called me and reassured that they will take care of everything. She also helped with booking the Dhow cruise. Second visit and just as good as the first. Very welcoming, nice large rooms ( although a couple of us had rooms with a slight 'odour' which we were told is due to the wood in the ceiling) and good breakfasts. A lovely resort and base in Musandam but take your litter home.

A comfortable hotel with beautiful views of the sea, even if the rooms are to the side, but they all seem to have balconies, if only we had time to enjoy them!Our arrival into Khasab was fine until the final approach when crosswinds catch the wings, so try not to worry about that - what comes later is worth it. The Atana is situated in a lovely spot with really nice rooms.
