Not what I expected in Oslo
A quick trip to Norway for a few days in May and I booked the Smarthotel in Oslo for a night. It was terrible. The room was expensive for what I got, the bed touched three walls and there was very little room to move. I will definitely avoid this chain of hote…

Cheap hotel masquerading under eco credentials
Dirty rooms, only one member of staff on duty, the smallest bathrooms I have ever encountered, no air-conditioning and noisy street outside, rooms only cleaned every 4 days. Breakfast ok. Location ok, albeit in a run-down looking street.

Good location
It is expensive for the room size. But very well located. You can go by foot to any touristic attraction, and it is nearby the bigger bus / train stops. The staff is very friendly.
