This is just a hotel room, didnt feel like it was different or amazing or had anything stand out about it. There is a tiny balcony but it is not big enough to sit on and the views are limited. There is limited parking available but there is no charge for parking. The location was perfect! Just across the street from the ocean with quick and easy access to the Coastal Walkway. The room was spotless and felt luxurious but surprisingly cozy! The water pressure in the shower was amazing! It was great washing my long thick hair and massaging my shoulders (but not painful). The room was super quiet as well. Great place to stay while in New Plymouth. We had a superior room which was worth the price. View of both the sea and the mountain. Well appointed large room. Hotel restaurant is first class and recommended. Reception staff polite and helpful.Walking distance to CBD, Pukeura Park so you can just leave your car in the covered carpark. (4/5)The suite we had was very nice with a great view of the water. Lovely walk along the waterfront as well. It should be noted that the microwave on a shelf is directly above a cabinet. We both banged our heads on the edge of the shelf. It would be good to cover the edge of the shelf with some form of protective covering. Yes, we did watch ourselves.
