This city hotel is situated at the heart of the pulsing centre of Utrecht, just steps from the train station and the Jaarbeurs congress centre. There are plenty of shopping opportunities close to the hotel, as well as plenty of restaurants, bars and museums. The cathedral and the famous Grachten (canals) are within easy walking distance. Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is about 30 minutes away.

A mixed experience
5 stars for location and staff, 4 for breakfast, 3 for the hotel which was a step down from other Leonardo we stayed in. We were there for 4 nights and enjoyed the unbeatable location in the city center. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they were even willing to warm up a dinner for us! The breakfast was good but we would have liked a little more choice with the cold cuts. The hotel itself… 5 stars for location and staff, 4 for breakfast, 3 for the hotel which was a step down from other Leonardo we stayed in. Avoid if possible
Booked this hotel expecting a 4-star standard given the price, and it fell well short. The building overall felt tired and poorly maintained , thin walls with little sound insulation between rooms, poor ventilation, and fixtures in the room that simply didn’t work properly. The tea/coffee station was dusty and the kettle hadn’t been cleaned. The duvet had visible stains. The bathroom door wouldn’t… Booked this hotel expecting a 4-star standard given the price, and it fell well short. Cons:No air conditioning in the room, just desk devices making a lot of noise. There is no fridge in the room, yet from the front desk I got the offer to store in their fridge whatever I need and take it whenever I want.No suppleme… The review is related to room 17 from hotel Leonardo.Pros: The hotel is in the center of the city, close to shopping and travel points. The hotel staff are very friendly. Ideal for TivoliVredenburg
Stayed here because of its location. Travelled into Utrecht on the train, and Utrecht Centra is a 5-6 minute walk. Chose this hotel as i was going to a gig at TivoliVredenburg, which is 1-2 minute walk away. Hotel itself is dated, the layout a bit odd, but location is excellent, and it was clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Stayed on a higher floor, at the back of the hotel and had a quiet/good ni… Stayed here because of its location.
