The room is "OK". I don't understand the old fashion Cruise theme. In particular the truck (mimic the old fashioned steamer trunks) functioning as the closet??? With 2 people for 2 days, not much space requiring, the "trunk" is too small. Packed with coffee/tea maker and all the coffee/tea parafanalia, fridge, safe, there is not enough hanging and shelf space. Housekeeping on request....OK ...unde… The room is "OK". This was the best hotel of our trip. Very clean and spacious. I appreciated the shower door rather than the an open shower. There was a mini fridge (not that cold) . The hotel is clean although after a 7 day stay the floor in the room wasn’t cleaned once. The bedding wasn’t changed either. The servicing of the room was minimal but it did take place every other day. I ordered a birthday cake which was €12.50 and was even asked for a name of the recipient. This was our first experience at the VOCO and all went extremely well. The hotel is very well positioned and is just a 5 minute walk from the shops. The breakfast was plentiful and the restaurant/bar were very well managed and drinks and food were up to the expected standard. voco The Hague is located in a striking, original building and enjoys a truly excellent central location, making it a great base for exploring the city.
