Fire alarm in the middle of the night - all guests on the street. No public updates at all. Staff limited to one man who was unable to turn the microphone off, The reason was given when asked in connection with check out. A smoking guest had set the firealarm off. Asked for a suite with a view when booking was given a suite on the 3rd floor with a view of the roof between high rise buildings adjacent. Cleanliness was not what I expected considering the price paid for the room dust on beside tables was very bad could run my finger through it but bathroom was major problem .Sink blocked just by washing our hands the sink was full in a few seconds. Great hotel and the location is brilliant. 2 min walk from train station and about 10 min from city centre. Rooms are clean and tidy and reception very helpful. Didn't use any amenities so can't comment. Let us leave suitcase in hotel on day of departure.
