Poor cleanliness and unavailable services
From the moment we arrived, the room was clearly dirty. We found used spoons and glasses left behind by previous guests, which was unacceptable. Did not meet expectations... strangely.
I really wanted to like this hotel, I really did. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with it! Decent location, close to (expensive!) shopping and restaurants, excellent service at the reception desk, comfortable bed, clean...So why the three stars? The whole hotel just felt... cold, austere and impersonal. It is not a place to make a guest feel at home, but it is clearly a business and you are… I really wanted to like this hotel, I really did. Not a 4-star hotel
Far from a 4-star experience. Staff in reception is junior and cant answer even simple questions around the facilities of the hotel. Breakfast is served in a nice location and is generally OK, but eggs are over cooked and cold. Gym is located in another hotel 3-4 min walk, a bit below standard hotel gym and with no possibility to shower so not the best option to have to walk in gym clothes outside… Far from a 4-star experience. Nice and central but at times condescending staff
This hotel is very central right opposite the royal palace. I’d booked a car park space as they only offer 3 but when I arrived a member of staff was parked in my allotted space, so had to park next to the dustbins. Check in was ok no upgrade was offered but I was told that they would give me a mini bar for my stay (this never happened)Our room was large enough but smelt like someone had been smok… This hotel is very central right opposite the royal palace.
