The breakfast was better... somehow qualitz is going down. E.g.: only orange juice, not other flavour. qualitz of croissants has worsened... There is much to like but equally to dislike. The position, cleaning, layout, parking all great. What wasn't so great, no blackout curtains so, get up at daybreak. Our captain suite on the 2nd floor looks out at the restaurant built right in front. I guess higher rooms will look out over the restaurant building. The hotel sits right on a river in Vlaardingen. The restaurant offers good food and drinks and it overlooks a river with many ships passing by. The views were very nice. The rooms are a little outdated so the main attraction is the restaurant on the river.
