Nice motel if you are just looking for a bed and hot shower.

It's more an (American style) motel than a hotel. Reception and restaurant are in a separate building and rooms are in an apartment block. It's a bit tired and dated, but the rooms are very clean. The bed was a bit hard and lumpy. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is right next to the motorway. Restaurant is not always staffed, but there's a McDonald's next door. Recently stayed here for a business trip, great location to the show building which is a 5 minute walk tops from the hotel. The staff at Campanile cant do enough for you and no request is an issue. Didn't feel safe. Boiling hot room, full of mosquitoes.

The only positive about this room was that we were able to bring our dog with us.We stayed here as a stop over for one night. When we arrived the main entrance was closed. It wasn't clear where to go and where to check in.Our room was on the ground floor of a very tired and run down looking block. There were bars on the windows, metal roll down shutters and a heavy curtain.The room was boiling hot… The only positive about this room was that we were able to bring our dog with us.We stayed here as a stop over for one night. The best thing about this place is the location, very easy access, and has the benifit of a good selection of local shops within easy walking distance although you wouldn't know it so ask for directions. This hotel is not for a romantic stay. Its hotel for business people and people how is driving throw Gorinchem and want to stay at cheep hotel. Good bed, clean room. Not more. The breakfast was good.
