My husband and I stayed in this hotel 3 nights in May 2022. I observed some attitudes from the hotel's restaurant staff. One night we decided to eat at the hotel's restaurant. When we entered the restaurant, we saw 4 staff chatting together. They carried on chatting and ignored us. This carried on 10 minutes! This good hotel is beautifully situated between the hills in the woods.

We have used this hotel many times in the past, for ourselves and for family members, but that was when it was still part of the Hampshire group. Like many hotels taken over by Fletcher, this hotel has deteriorated a bit, carpet in the corridors are full of stains, no minibar in the room for example. But for Fletcher standard, we think this hotel is the best this group has to offer. This hotel is located just outside Berg en Dal very close to the German border. Great place for hiking and also excellent for bussiness meetings. Parking can be a pain if there are a lot of meetings, but the rooms are kingsize, the breakfast selection excellent and the dinner options are great too.
