Character hotel

Stayed for one night as part of a cycling holiday. Hotel is an old building. I’d say that whilst it has basic amenities, it has real character and was good to stay for one night.Great location for walking into Leiden.Breakfast was nice and the welcome from reception was friendly.Stayed for one night as part of a cycling holiday. Due to COVID-19 I'd to cancel a reservation done for 17 people and I've been told that the deposit (€1,335.00) done in December 2019 is lost and can't be refunded. In the meantime, cancellation policy for USA, Canada and Carribean is as follow : "Guests with existing reservations for any future travel date may cancel with 24 hours' notice for a full refund" ????So, If you have an hotel reservation… Due to COVID-19 I'd to cancel a reservation done for 17 people and I've been told that the deposit (€1,335.00) done in December 2019 is lost and can't be refunded. Great place in the center of Leiden. Really enjoy the hotel room and I would recommend it to others. A pleasant addition would be some more power outlets although this was not a big problem. Thank you Best Western for this awesome stay.Great place in the center of Leiden. Really enjoy the hotel room and I would recommend it to others. The room's set-up is a bit too crowded, but it's still quite comfortable. Everything's clean. You have to be careful and keep the bathroom's door closed when you shower since the steam could activate the fire alarm inside the room, but that's basically the only thing to "worry" about. The room's set-up is a bit too crowded, but it's still quite comfortable.
