One of the worst hotel experiences ever.

You have to park in the mall, which the hotel charges you for, and walk a long way in the cold rain with your luggage. Then the room is absolutely freezing but you don't have control of the thermostat. The shower also doesn't have any door so your back is cold the whole time and water goes everywhere. The extra bed squeaks, waking your child and you. All pillows are big and very firm, giving you agonizing neck and back pain (still a week later). Then they harass you to take down your review. This has to be one of the worst hotel experiences ever. It's a shame because the rooms themselves are nice. The location is close to the train station, 5 minutes walk. Also a few museums are nearby. The staff, especially the one in the restaurant, very friendly and helpful. Extremely varied breakfast, everyone can find their favorite morning food. The bathroom has all the necessary hotel cosmetics. Good hotel, attention to detail could be improved

Good things: - Great location, in city center, close to the train station. - Breakfast location at 13th floor is amazing. Very good choices of breakfast. To be improved: The hotel overall is good, but it is not a 5 star hotel. Attention to details needs improvement. - keys were not working at first attempt; - there were things missing from the room...e.g. one of the bathrobes; - dust was not properly cleaned; - the heating system cannot be controlled from the room. You need to call the reception to increase/decrease the temperature. - early checkin is not possible, even if the room is ready, unless you pay extra. Comparing with other hotels I've been to, the room was always offered in advance if it was available. No extra charge. NH Collection Eindhoven Centre will always be our first choice when staying at Eindhoven. You should try the breakfast. It has great selection, delicious, and have great views of Eindhoven city. The rooms are spacious. and have competitive price. It is perfect for travelling with your family. The location is perfect. You can easily walk to the city center. The staff and managers from the hotel are very professional and helpful and welcoming. The team are trustworthy. We feel safe staying in this hotel. The team truly reflects the General Manager's , great characters and leadership. They truly cares about their guest satisfactions. After staying at this hotel, I have to decided to become their Platinum member. You should too. We would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends, and one day would come back again. Very welcoming and clean hotel. Came for a family trip and the location of the hotel was perfect close by to everything. My 4 year old loved the free sweets in the lobby area - nice touch.
