A friendly welcome from Anne. She had a note of my request for a quiet room, at the back and away from the lifts. This is exactly what we got. So many hotels ignore these requests.The room was small. Not a surprise as I have stayed in IBIS before. It was fine for our one-night stopover. I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. One of the staff members—a larger woman—was consistently loud in the hallways, speaking in a language I couldn’t understand and showing a clear attitude. When I tried to ask for help, she couldn’t even respond in English, which made things very frustrating.To make matters worse, the room was not clean. We were attending a football tournament in Oisterwijk and this was our base for two nights. There were 15 adults and 15 kids, check in was really easy and quick and our rooms were comfy.
