We stayed at the Holiday Inn for the Solheim Cup with Golfbreaks UK. The rooms were spacious and the staff very friendly and helpful.Breakfast was very good with a big choice. We ate in the restaurant one evening. The food was OK but limited choice and service was slow. Everything seemed too much trouble. The first issue we all had were the pillows, they were more like big hard sofa cushions than bed pillows. There was a card in the room offering a pillow exchange but when we asked for one they said they didn't have any to exchange. The rooms weren't cleaned properly, toothpaste marks stayed in the sink, coffee cups stayed dirty and the coffee pods tasted old and… Everything seemed too much trouble. Hotel was clean, comfortable and close to town centre. Stayed here to visit family and couldn’t fault it. Breakfast and diner was brilliant. I never expected that my first trip to the Netherlands would end like this.While we were away at a music festival, someone entered our room and all of the cash from my wallet disappeared. The hotel is in a perfect city center location. Walkable distance to Philips stadium, etc. The rooms were large. Breakfast had good variety. The staff were very lovely and helpfull.
