A pleasant place to stay for a few days

My wife and I, both of us UK based senior citizens, stayed at this hotel for four nights over New Year and it wasn’t too bad a place at all to call home for this holiday period. It's currently 4:54 AM on Sunday morning. Cops have been called at least twice. Bar across the street is extremely loud and does not close until at least 4 AM. Best word for this hotel: worthless and unsleepable. Avoid like the plague. Apart from that, helpful staff (they called the police at least once) and reasonable room all undone by the incessant noise of the Bar next door. Stayed here for four nights on a Leger coach trip for the New Year. Lovely hotel, centrally located with friendly staff.
