Start your morning hike, right from this comfortable get away amidst the Oisterwijkse Vennen and Kampina. I suppose average just about sums up this hotel. Some things were good - reception staff were friendly and efficient, bed was comfortable and it is in a quiet setting. What lets it down is the poor choice at breakfast (what is there is ok) and absence of staff to replenish as things run out. One guy in the kitchen seemed to be preparing food and topping up - needs more staff than this to keep on t… I suppose average just about sums up this hotel. Stayed here for one night. Very hot without the window open. Opening the window caused a lot of mosquitoes. Luckily there were spiders in the corner of the room that ate some of the bugs. Shower was extremely small with dutch glass doors in the corner. It didn't work well. Food wasn't great. Beer I had was warm. All in all, definite no. I stayed here with my wife and adult daughter for four nights. We found it very comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. The hotel is surrounded by woods and lakes. As well as dining in the hotel we tried several of the restaurants next door to the hotel and in Oisterwijk. There is plenty to see in the neighbourhood, such as Kasteel Nemelaer, where we enjoyed delicious hazelnut meringues or… I stayed here with my wife and adult daughter for four nights. Beautiful location in the woods. Feel good atmosphere in the lobby.
