Non existing customer service and sleepless night due to wedding!

We had a one night stay which turned out to be 0 hours of sleep due to an ongoing wedding party. Spoke to nightporter who said the music will be until 6 am. NOT ACCEPTABLE for a 5 star hotel. In the morning the manager said we would get a full refund which we have been chasing for weeks now. Endless calls with no solution. lovely lovely hotel but I have not been here since before lockdown. Staff and service is still top notch, but the relocation of breakfast from the upstairs breakfast room was a real disappointment - seems like the range of food is nowhere near the same. A beautiful hotel in Breda but we had to go out in a rain storm and get food because the restaurant closed early and you cannot even have room service. Disappointing for hotel of this level in a major city and part of Marriott hotels. Not a luxury hotel at all!

We chose this hotel as they advertised themselves as a luxury hotel. This is completely false advertising. The hotel’s website for the room we booked showed photos of a beautiful large bathroom with a bathtub, sink and shower as well as a spacious room. What we actually received was a small room with an open shower stall with NO door and a separate toilet and sink right in the room! I stayed here on a recent trip to the Netherlands when I had a meeting nearby.
