Sorry, but there is no heating in January.

We had a group booking in January, several of the rooms had no functioning heating, which the staff claimed they could not fix. It was minus 2 outside. Very uncomfortable. Stayed only for the one night… what a strange place. Staff weren’t exactly rude but lacking in any training for making your feel welcome, they were efficient but lacking in any warmth. I asked about lunch to be told main restaurant was out of bounds and menu restricted to snacks. No ironing facilities available for the room, only option is a room where the iron was so badly covered in burnt fabric… Stayed only for the one night… what a strange place. We stayed at the Fletcher Hotel in Wageningen for three days ( Red Carpet Award in Europe) and had an excellent experience. The staff were attentive and provided top-level service. The location is stunning, with beautiful walks along the Rhine River — highly recommend the River View Suite.Chef Nick van den Berg and his team were outstanding!!!
