It all started when we arrived at around 14:00, when we were greeted at reception with the words that our room would only be ready for occupancy at 15:00 and not earlier. It is such a wonderful hotel. Good rooms, good breakfast, nice staff. Everwhere is so clean, the bar is lovely, rooms are cosy. It is near to Nijkerk town which is beautiful. Hotel got a refurb this year, and looks nice on paper. Staff very service minded, BUT that is also to cater for a few shortcomings.* Pool/sauna great, but they lack pool towels. Asking reception or housekeeping for an extra one on the room is just cumbersome.* Restaurant 'Baron' has nice HB dinners, a la carte also looks fine.
