The hotel has seen the better days but the room is functional and well maintained. The main feature of the property is the location. It’s close to the main attraction of the city and a shopping mall with quite a few restaurants.All staff were great and the restaurant is not bad. The Hotel Tivoli Maputo is in a great location for sightseeing. It's an easy walk to the Botanical Gardens, Train Station, Fort and Independence Square.The rooms are a good size with a great desk area and a large closet and a safe. I booked an airport pick up prior to my arrival as I will be arriving late night. Being a solo female traveller and first time visiting the country, i didnt want to take airport taxi. Thr airport pick up was confirmed by someone named Sandra Nhassengo. I landed in Maputo but no one was there to pick me.
