My wife and I stayed at Hotel Centro Historico for 3 nights just before Christmas. Thogh a bit dated, the hotel is in pretty good condition. Our penthouse suite was hotel was large with separate bedroom and living areas and a second half bathroom, which was a pleasant surprise. My experience in this hotel was awesome, the crew was friendly and hopeful. The lady in front desk was professional and hopeful, I was there Friday the 5th at night time. They told how to get around the city and where to go for the historic places. Hotel Veracruz Centro Historical was wonderful. Everything was clean, the bed and pillows were very comfortable and the linens were all great. The staff here was fabulous, helpful and friendly. I read some reviews complaining about noise from the zócalo, but we didn't hear anything. The breakfast was lovely.
