The hotel is very nice. It has a good bar, a great breakfast buffet, a good gym, nice rooms, and the perfect location right next to PLaza Rio and also a Starbucks on its property. The price is reasonable. What is missing is a pool, better water pressure in the showers, and newer hand weights in the gym(since the existing ones a rusted). All in all its one of my favorite places to stay in Tijuana.PS. Improving the water pressure in the shower would be the first and most urgent thing for them to improve. After I checked in, I went to my room, and the bathroom was filthy. The towels were on the floor, there was urine on the toilet and the trash can was full. They sent me back to reception and had me waiting 45 minutes. They sent me to the same room since there wasn't room available and the bathroom looked the same except for the towels were folded but it looked like the used ones. The shower floor was dirty. I cleaned myself as much as possible. The room wasn't swept either. Also, every time we had to leave a parking validation was needed from the reception and then you had to validate at the machine. It was such and inconvenience when you were rushing. Our nightmare in Real Inn

We could not communicate with the hotel to make changes to our reservation with a week in advance. Our room was flooded, they changed us to another room but the shower was leaking profusely. It was so noisy that we could not sleep and were afraid that this second room was going to get flooded too. The second room smelled terrible and they did not change us to another room. Overcharged and poor amenities!

Needed a last minute room due to a medical appointment, there was an hotel across from the hospital we needed to visit, but unfortunately it was fully booked. We walked in at this hotel since it’s about 3 blocks from the hospital, and even though this was not a leisure stay, the hotel was a big disappointment. For some weird reason they give you a rate in US dollars when you will be paying with Mexican pesos, and have a Mexican ID, this is their trick to OVERCHARGE you for the room!!! We questioned them about it and they gave us an absurd explanation that the exchange is $18 something pesos, when the dollar hasn’t been at $18 IN MONTHS!!! (btw I saw signs at stores with this same BS). Ok, I had to make peace with the fact that they definitely overcharged us and we paid $3,400 pesos for one night (room with two beds was all they had according to the clerk checking us in). Once in the room we regretted our decision of having stayed here even more, room was very dark even with all the lights on, NO mini fridge (unless you request it, I was told. I didn’t even ask but I’m sure there was going to be another exorbitant price for that). The shower pressure was poor to none, I could get more water if I was showering myself with a hose I bet. They have a sign in the shower saying “start the day with a rain of ideas” what rain? It more like a drizzle! Let’s continue, we were given maybe one of their worst room location on the second floor, right across the service elevator which we could hear constantly. The room amenities are very poor as well, only two ugly old towels, the showers didn’t have any conditioner, the shampoo bottle says it is shampoo/conditioner but IT’S NOT. And the cherry on the top! My husband FOUND A COCKROACH in the bathroom!!! We will never stayed there again if we ever need to stay in town. I might get an answer on this review stating they regret the issues we had, but will they try to workout a partial refund ??? Don’t think so! Towels look dirty and I was slightly over charged of what I was supposed to pay with booking. Saw cockroaches in second floor where I stayed.
