Stay elsewhere if you’re planning to take a shower!

There is zero water pressure. Taking a shower was a chore. The hotel is not well maintained. The shower handle fell off when I touched it. The desk lamp was broken and they didn’t fix it for me. The towels were ragged and not replaced when left on the floor. The staff would just rehang them. This was all a big surprise given high guidebook recommendations.There is zero water pressure. We were excited to stay at La Purificadora, until about 1 hour into our arrival.First, we arrived around 6pm (after a long travel day), so we went to the lobby restaurant for dinner. No one was there, but there were so many BIG mosquitos! We asked the front desk if they had a mosquito ring to keep them away - NO. So I went to our room and got OFF spray. La Purificadora is a boutique Hotel located adjacent to the Cathedral de San Francisco within an archaeological park like location. Located in a former Ice factory the spaces are open and very inviting. Rooms are comfortable and the beds make for a very good nights sleep. The food was great, but the customer service was even better. I ate at the restaurant 2 days in a row and I was fortunate to have both Angel (bartender) and Miguel (server). We talked about all sorts of things: tunnels, volcanoes, churches, basketball, football, and of course Philosophy. Next time I’m in Puebla, I’ll be staying here.
