Nice hotel with a number of small flaws

The hotel is nice overall, with quite spacious rooms. The beds are comfortable as well and the staff are friendly. There's a water carafe in the lobby as well as nice seating. The hotel restaurant (above the lobby) has good food, if a bit pricey. Some issues that could use improvement: 1) There are a ton of scratches (not small ones) on the floor. Horrible staff. Receptionist Isabel and manager Claudia are rude and incompetent. They are uneducated in the rules that apply support animals and refused repeatedly to give me the keys to my room after paying, delaying my check-in and creating a rather unwelcoming experience.
