Staff was very friendly and helpful. The air conditioner wouldn't go below 20.5 and for 6 nights i couldn't sleep. It must be locked not to go below that temp. The hallways were always dirty with crumbs of some sort. The remote control disappeared on night 6 and we had go go down to get a new one and it didn't control the TV. We stayed for seven days. The staff was excellent. Rooms were cleaned with perfection. The people at the counter were so helpful and polite. The people in the breakfast area were first class. I felt safe in the area, you must use the room key to go from first floor to other floors to get elevator to activate. Food was very good. I stayed at this hotel from 10 July and leaving early morning 16 July. I have enjoyed my stay here. The personell are very helpful. The breakfast is nice. You have a nice bar and restaurant inside the hotel. It is situated in a quite place outside downtown Merida, with a lot of transport opportunities to downtown or other places. Far far away and very,very noisy. No way to sleep

First of all I have to admit that the reception girl was very nice and accommodating. I got a nice junior suite upgrade (Hilton Diamond) and the two star rating is not due to that. The problem is that there is no soundproofing at all and apparently people love to pull and push furniture on the blank tile floors at 5:30 in the morning and then all day afterwards on all of the other floors. We always feel at home. The staff are very polite, lovely, friendly and professional. Very good services, cleaning and hygiene.
