Quiet Hotel within walking distance of main plaza

We chose this hotel because of it's Mexican look and we enjoyed our stay very much. It is on the older side (it didn't bother us!) and the minimal staff was friendly. There were very few people staying in the hotel since it was during Covid. We could walk to the main plaza and to local restaurants as well. The hotel is adequate at best and in need of renovation. If your looking for something that is in walking distance to all the activities this is good for that. We had never stayed at this property in Mérida before and did not know what to expect so on our arrival we were pleasantly surprised. The building, courtyard gardens and pool were beautiful, clean and well maintained. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our room was large (had booked a King) and most importantly clean. Could be better... missing maintanance

It is a centric hotel in Merida, nice entrance. Rooms are classical style. Unfortunately during our visit we noticed some missing maintanance.
