After a dreadful Airbnb experience, we wised up and moved to the Fiesta Americana in Merida. Finding this sanctuary rescued our holiday, and I'll definitely stay at this hotel the next time I'm in Merida. Fiesta Americana, Merida, offered us the most perfect vacations. We stayed for seven days. Nice hotel overall but the rooms definitely need some updating. The hotel is very strategically located to visit the city, and the service was very good. Stayed in a junior suite and the room felt old and in desperate need of remodelling. This hotel is one of the worst I ever had. The rooms are depressingly dark and dated. On the Reception floor, there are roaches in the bathroom - not sure about my actual room yet (let’s wait for the dark hours ;-)). But the worst thing are their attitude towards guests and severe noise problems.
