We stayed at the Ecotel Quinta Regia for one night as part of a birdwatching tour with Ecocolors. We arrived early and we were able to get our room well before the standard check-in time. All was good except for musty odor

It is a 15-20 minute walk to main square. Room was nice with walk in shower and parking was good. The grounds had lots of tropical vegetation and a swimming pool which was ok for short laps if no one else present. The restaurant onsite was convenient and served tasty food. We stayed at this pleasant and relaxing hotel for 5 days while exploring the Mayan remains and cenotes in the area. The hotel was not busy during our stay, so we slept and breakfasted extremely well. Our room was large, comfortable and dimly lit, and looked out over lush green gardens. We never managed to have more than a tepid shower, but in the heat this didn’t really matter. Hotel is nice, clean, quiet. Staff is lovely and very helpful. Hotel restaurant can serve good local food - comida tipico yucateca.
