The service was excellent! Especially Moises in el Portofina and el Mexicana: He is on top of everything. In the buffet, Luis Angel has you covered. The rooms are clean, some may say they are a bit dated but I have noticed improvements in the property as a whole. I have been coming here since 2017. True Mexican experience. A wonderful place. If you are into all the poshy nonsense of super exclusive resorts, go somewhere else. We were one of the few non-Mexican guests, and that really made our experience better. Staff and other guests were wonderful. Some hotel personnel didn’t speak English, and that was great too. Overall we had a great time. It is a great location and I cant say enough things about te staff. We had a small issue with a smell in our room which took a bit longer to sort than we would have liked but it was dealth with and we were moved to a different room.
