Back again and it didn’t disappoint!

Nice location above Madera, but likely wont' return.
We've been coming here for forty years, but probably won't come back. Although the staff are really nice, the hotel had a lot of odd rules. You are required to wear a plastic wristband so that the restaurant staff would know which breakfast option you were eligible for. You can't drink the water, but are only given two very small bottles per day. Extra small bottles cost a buck fifty! Hotel Irma Alert!!
The hotel was clean and overall the staff were friendly. We did have several instances where after we paid cash for food in the restaurant, we were told we didn’t pay for the meals. Initially I thought it was an error until I checked out and they demanded 1200 extra pesos on food charged to the room. We ate nothing in the room.
