Located in the business district of Guadalajara... the hotel is huge ... we arrived on a late Sunday afternoon and the hotel was basically empty ...Service was friendly ... the lobby bar ran out of Siste Leagues tequila which I was dumbfounded ... such a big hotel and to be running out .. don't they keep a computer inventory and when it runs low they order more ?? found it strange. It was for sure a good hotel 30 years ago but it is clear it had no renovation until then. It is sad and tired hotel that screams to be updated. You feel in a late 70's hotel but you pay for a 5 star hotel. The hotel is old but has been renewed and it’s very well conserved. Really nice breakfast and awesome location. There is a mall and supermarket right across the street and I felt very safe in this neighborhood.There is a swimming pool and small 24-hour gym. Worst 5 star hotel I have ever been.

It is NOT a 5 star Hotel, its more a 2/3 star hotel. Made a mess with my laundery (they cleaned the white clothes with Blue and got stained), I gave a list of 8 different things that where wrong in the bedroom over night and did not make an effort to fix. The hotel staff were nice and appologetic but I think there is a lack of management! IHG Service, Owner at Intercontinental Presidente Guadal… It is NOT a 5 star Hotel, its more a 2/3 star hotel.
