Lots of great things to say about a metal star waves! That said, the best of the best is Maria with the tacos at El cedral. Lovely hotel with really helpful, friendly staff and good amenities.
Lovely hotel, kept beautifully clean with excellent food. There is choice of restaurants which caters for all tastes. Snack bar has burgers, hotdogs, chips etc but also fruit, buffet has good choice at lunch and then becomes smoke house most evenings with bbq'd meats etc. Buffet restaurant is very good and has themed nights which were lovely. Yet another wonderful time with iberostar.
This is not our first trip here and we have not been disappointed. I want to take time to give a shout out to Jesse. We had bedn here multiole times but because sometimes i used my middle name snd sometimes not, thr system did not tally out visits correctly. Jesse came to our rescue and found our previous visit so our count was correct. He took the time to fix this’s snafu for us. Going to give a good honest review based on our experience.Location: Very secluded but only a short inexpensive taxi ride into Cozumel town which is bustling and lively with shops, bars and markets. Hotel: Lovely, all staff are amazing and so friendly and will want to make your stay extremely welcoming. Left me a bottle in my room for my birthday next day. Unsanitary conditions at buffet restaurant
Coati infestation in restaurant is very concerning. The animals run around, under the tables, on the ceiling edge and they dig in the food bins for left overs. They then eat the left overs on the floor and leave them there: bones, pieces of meat, etc. Not only it's a health hazard to have animals plunge into discarded food bins (would anyone be comfortable if it was rats?), they can carry rabies.… Coati infestation in restaurant is very concerning.
