  Card key loosing Penalty = 200 pesos!

  Warning ! Loosing your key card May cost you 200$ pesos ! Almost 12 US dollars !However the rooms have a decent view to the ocean but they only give you a card key and if by accident you lose it that may cost you 200 pesos!The neighborhood is as well not so recommendable to walk around especially by night time.

  Huge Room With Kitchen and Balcony/View, But NO ONE Spoke English

  I left Mexico City for a couple of days to visit Acapulco and booked this hotel, well-located and just across the street from a beautiful beach. However, although the room was huge with a kitchen and great view there were a number of problems, not easily solved because no one at the hotel spoke English, at best a few words.I'm not an "ugly American," I don't expect folks on the street to speak English, but at hotels, airports and train stations I do. If you're German or Japanese you probably don't speak Spanish, and you won't find many Mexicans who do. However, English has become a useful tool for travelers and I can't figure out why this is not mandatory at such an otherwise nice hotel. And a Ramada!My television didn't work and it took THREE different employees to fix the problem, which turned out to be the remote, which had no battery. There were other problems with the two remotes (one for cable) and figuring it out was a challenge. Plus, there were no dishes and cookware for the kitchen, not even glasses for the water they provided. That was fixed, but not so the balcony door, which did not lock.The beach was a savior and the easy location to other parts of Acapulco, the Golden Zone and Zocalo were easily accessible by bus on the main road for approximately 50 cents. I took a cab my first night with the help of a clerk who spoke a few words and got me to the Acapulco Cliff Divers for a spectacular show, with features I didn't expect. Sadly, the one day I didn't bring my umbrella, as the forecasters for rain were wrong in Mexico City, where I did lug the umbrella, proved my downfall, preventing my seeing the final show of the night, as it started pouring. I was lucky to find a cab.So, while one woman clerk was helpful, most of the staff were either not interested in my language problem or sincerely couldn't help.Also, the cabs from the airport for some reason are twice as expensive as in Mexico City. Armed with my skill with the bus, and with just a carry-on bag for the two nights, I took a bus most of the way to the airport, which cost me 70 cents, as opposed to the $25 it cost from the airport.Ramada, get your act together! I tried to submit 3 photos, but it kept buffering, so I gave up.

  Very Noisy and just average hotel

  This hotel looks a bit dated. The worst part is that it is extremely noisy since very early in the morning as it is in front of the street which has a lot of traffic. The rooms seem a bit dated and not very modern. Not a good choice if looking for a restful stay

  The hotel used to be an old building fully remodeled. I enjoyed very much my stay, the staff is friendly, useful, attentive and always willing to help you.You can’t complain about the service or facilities because everything is brand new.Nonetheless, consider that the hotel is just in front of Costera Miguel Alemán, which is the main avenue in Acapulco, the noise is reduced by windows but you can still listen to street noises.However, the view of the beach is good and once you are in the sea or in the beach you love your hotel to be in front of it.Great value for price!BTW: the buffet is really good, the chef is always checking the temperature and freshness of food, the waiter is really attentive, the price of it is excellent!I loved my stay there. Thanks a lot!!

  We stayed two weeks in Junior suite, studio style room with kitchenette and large balcony. Hotel is very new and studio was spacious and clean. Full glass wall provided beautiful view of the Acapulco bay. Staff, particularly Rene, were extremely friendly and speedily attended to our needs. Swimming pool was small but water was clean and we enjoyed the dip in it. Location is away from the high rise hotels to the east. It is very close to big Mega store, fish market and other services.Every room face busy Costera and if you are light sleeper you may have to use ear plugs which helps to cut the noise of air conditioner as well.
