Our stay at Ivy Hotel was unfortunately very disappointing. There is an active construction site directly outside the hotel, and every morning the work started around 7:00 AM. The noise inside our room reached around 60–65 dB, which repeatedly woke us up and completely disrupted our sleep.What makes this worse is that this construction was not mentioned anywhere in the booking information. we encountered a very unhelpful member of staff at check in who told me I had no booking. Eventually he found the booking in my wife's name which I don't believe as her name wasn't used on any of my booking documents . Pretty sure he was just being awkward. The breakfast was OK but there was only a four slice toaster with half of it not working.
