Short business trip with one night stay - we were looking for the hotel within the walking distance from the railways station, and this one has been chosen.Hotel rooms were OK - nothing special but clean and spacious enough. I stayed here for several nights, and the experience was awful. The rooms were disgusting. They have a policy that they only clean the rooms every four days, unless you ask for it, and even then they only give you new towels. There was hair in the bathroom when I arrived, and something unidentified on the shower floor. I was dumb enough to move the nightstand, and it had obviously not been cleaned… I stayed here for several nights, and the experience was awful. The rooms were disgusting. We stayed at Ibis Styles Kaunas, which is conveniently located about 20 minutes from the airport and just a 10-minute walk from the train station — great for travellers. Although it’s a bit further from Kaunas town centre, the bus stop right across the road makes it easy to get around with frequent service.Our room was small but had everything we needed. I really liked this hotel. It just seemed to have everything I wanted/needed.I am disabled so the shower was great, it was walk in -flat. The TV had lots of English speaking channels, and Netflix. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided, so it was great having the use of the kettle.There was a little table by the side of the bed, which was perfect for my CPAP ventilator, as I have Sleep Apn… I really liked this hotel. On the surface, this place is great. A real bargain. But under the surface it’s a noisy, sleep depriving annoyance. This place is practically hollow, and the noise just travels through it like you wouldn’t believe! One night they had loads of kids running around on the level above mine, and you could hear everything! Another night around 2am I was woken up by people arguing and slamming doors.
