  Hotel is directly next to bus station which houses a large supermarket also. The main train station is only a few minutes walk further along the road. I took the express train to Vilnuis which only cost about 6.00EUR first class! The room was standard Ibis and had most things that you needed.   Hotel is clean and tidy and the staff are very helpful and friendly. One shortcoming is that it doesn’t have a bar, nor restaurant that is open in the evenings for food, which is not ideal as there are very limited facilities close by.   This hotel is in a really good area, walkable distance to the train station, nearby mall and other supermarkets, plus right next to a taxi rank and bus station.   stayed at the Ibis Kaunas Centre for two nights and overall had a good experience. The location is a real highlight. It’s very central, about a 10-minute walk to the Old Town, right next to the main bus station, and less than five minutes on foot to the main train station.
