Old hotel on the edge of the old town. Cramped, dark room - very old-fashioned. Indifferent staff - maybe the failure by the reception staff not to pause their conversations to offer a simple "good morning" to customers is a cultural thing.Excellent location if you want the bars and Old Town - vomit on the pavement outside (obvs not the hotel's fault). We decided to do a kind of ex-tempore trip to the Baltic countries by car during our Christmas holiday forabout 3 weeks. This hotel was chosen only because it was reasonable price and in Riga, where we headed to. This hotel has a parking place for a car deal but it is a bit far.
