If I could give this 3.5 stars on the rating, I would. 3/5 seems a bit short shrift but 4 is maybe a bit too much for my rating system.ProsIn terms of value for money it's very, very good and there's no way a hotel in England could match their nightly rate. Hotel room had bedbugs, i didn’t see them, but I was bitten all over the body with tipical bedbugs bites. smell was also so terrible, walls are paper thin. We had a lovely stay at the hotel, any member of staff we encountered was so lovely & helpful. We went for the marathon & it was perfect, it's only a short tram ride from the centre of everything. Beds very comfortable too. Dirty bathrooms, our toilet literally had s**t in it when we arrived and the smell was overwhelmingly disgusting. Carpets are dirty so bring slippers. Breakfast was horrible, especially if you have any dietary/allergy restrictions. Coffee is abysmal. My wife and I ended up booked into this hotel as part of a Wowcher deal. The only positive is the staff on the desk was friendly and informative. Hotel is not in a good location for visiting the city and the surrounding buildings looked derelict. The room was disgusting.
